NFL officially kicks off on September 9th with a Thursday night game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints that should be a classic. The superbowl champ Saints are favored to win so the bookmakers at BetUS have given them a 6 point head start setting the line at +6.

The Saints have a powerful team but looked weak against the New England Patriots in pre-season. The Saints have also lost a few players in pre-season including punter Thomas Morestread. This game seems a bit too close to call – we recommend you wait until a few days before the match to bet on this one.

The Colts and rivals, Texans are closely matched. The linesmakers at BetUS have the Colts -3. At -110 this isn’t a bad bet.

New England has had plenty of positives to talk about through the pre-season. They are -5½ against Cincinnati. This will shape up to be a great game – playing at home we think the Pats will cover and send the road dogs home disappointed.

The Monday nighter will see Baltimore take on the NY Jets. The Jets are the home favorite to win by a field goal listed at -3 points. This is too close to call. We recommend you keep a close eye on both teams through the preseason and look for the best momentum going into the matchup.
